Rest home and services flats – Laeken
This project consists in the transformation of a rest home located in the Wand street, and building of an extension for the residence service at the Jeanson street.
The rest house will count 122 beds.
The residence service has 22 flats-services and 23 places underground parking.
Special technical mission:
- Sanitary installations: drainage/ cold- and hot-water supply/ fire protection/ rainwater supply to the WC in the nursing home/ installation of all sanitary appliances, fittings, and accessories.
- Underground drainage.
- HVAC systems: heat and hot water production from gas condensing boilers (central heating for both buildings) – heating of the rooms in the nursing home by radiators – the common rooms are heated and cooled by a direct expansion air conditioning system type VRV. Production of heating water and production of domestic hot water from mini stations that supply the radiators on the one hand and distribute the domestic hot water to the various appliances in the apartments of the service residence on the other hand. These mini stations are connected to the centralized boiler room. Hygienic air ventilation is provided by several double-flow air handling units with heat recovery (+ hot water battery).
- High and low current electrical installations: construction of a new high-voltage room – low-voltage electrical distribution – camera surveillance – nurse call installation – structured data/telephone cabling – Wifi network cabling – access control installation – intercom installation.
- Installation of 4 new elevators.
